The Guardians of Jade Mountain tells the story of an unlikely friendship between Aliman, the leader of a Bunun clan (Taiwanese aborigines), and a Japanese anthropologist, Mori, during the Japanese occupation of Taiwan. The residence will allow me to complete my research for the narrative and the visual design of the project through :
I will then begin the development of an early prototype, collaborating with a graphic designer from Taiwan.
I studied at Le Fresnoy Art School in France, then I co-founded Innerspace VR, one of the very first virtual reality creation studios, working since its origins to explore the fragile balance between storytelling and interactivity and tackling very different genres: art installations, documentaries, 360° fictions, until recently video games, with equal critical and public recognition.
