Ting-Ting Cheng graduated from MA Photographic Studies at University of Westminster and MFA Fine Art at Goldsmiths College. In her practice, Cheng examines our cultural, national and racial identities and our relationship with the society through reinterpreting archival and found materials to construct new narratives in the current context. She applies images, sound, videos, objects, actions and participations to form installations, performances, walks, games, interactions and interventions, inviting audiences to be part of the narratives while discovering unnoticed/unofficial history. Cheng had solo shows at museums and galleries in Taiwan, Japan, Spain, UK and more. She participated in Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (China), III Moscow International Biennalefor Young Art, Contemporary Art Festival Sesc_Videobrasil (São Paulo) and group exhibitions at MMCA (Seoul), KuanDu Museum (Taipei), National Taiwan Museum of Fine Art (Taichung), National Art Museum of China (Beijing)...etc.
