Birth：Born in Kaohsiung in 1983
Chi Kai-Yuan received a Master of Arts at the National Changhua University of Education. His primary creations include mix media, action art and site-specific installation works. He is the resident artist at the Treasure Hill Artist Village (2013), also resided at various sites such as the Bamboo Curtain Studio (2012), Stock 20 Art Network of Taichung Railway Warehouse (2010), and Art Site of Chiayi Railway Warehouse (2007). His recent participating exhibitions included: “ Free yourself – Solo Exhibition of Kai-Yuan Chi” at FreeS Art Space, “ThaiTai : A Measure of Understanding” at Open Contemporary Art Center, “New Directions: Trans-Plex Weaving Platform” at Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts, “Art Sync” at NARS Foundation in New York, “Open Kitchen” at Da Gallery in New York, and “On the Way- International Performance Art Meeting” at Da-an Park.
